Dr. Justin Epstein was raised in Dundas, Ontario, a small town adjacent to Hamilton. In 2004, he graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s of Science and then moved to Boston to study at the prestigious New England College of Optometry, graduating with honours as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honour Society in 2008. In his final year, he completed four clinical rotations across the United States, closely practicing with industry leading Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, and gaining valuable experience in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, Specialty Contact Lens Fittings and Pediatric Eyecare.
Since he graduated, he has been working in primary eyecare, treating patients of all ages. He initially spent four years in Victoria, British Columbia, followed by six years in Burlington, Ontario and has now settled in Kingston. Though relatively new to the Kingston area, Limestone Eyecare was born from Dr. Epstein’s desire to have his own business and create a fun and memorable experience for each of his patients. Dr. Epstein is a friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic person who truly believes vision goes beyond 20/20. He takes the time to educate his patients concerning their ocular prescription, their eye health and multitude of options and products the industry has to offer.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Epstein enjoys spending time with his wife (also a local Optometrist) and 3 children. He is an avid cyclist, a huge sports fan and loves to hike and travel.
